i used ls1 fans out of a 98 camaro. i also used the flex-a-lite varible fan controller. i used some anlge aluminum to connect to my modified stock fan shroud to the shroud on the fans. took about 4 hours. dont worry those pimptastic yellow zip ties will eb replaced with black ones...i ran out of black anyway here are some finished pics. HenryJ`s wirte up saev me alot of headache!

I'm sure you'll be happy with the performance.
Mine didn't have that flow through opening in the upper left. What about adding a rubber flap so that the fans will draw through that section while stopped and at slow speeds. Then it will open and allow flow at highway speeds.

I think the biggest thing I noticed was the peace and quiet. I didn't realize just how much noise the stock fan made until it was gone.
