PA3 wheels
Here is a question for everyone in this forum. I hear discussions of the ZR5 wheels and N90's which are stock wheels on CCs. However, nobody on this site seems to have PA3 wheels. They are good looking wheels that come with ZR2s.
The ZR2 guys put ZR5s and N90s on their rigs, but most CC owners seem to be sticking with stock. I think a set of the PA3s would look good on a CC. How come nobody has tried to put a st of these on their rig??

I just tried to post three images above. However, they won't show up. What am I doing wrong when I post my images? I can't get them to show. Can someone please assist and tell me how to fix?
Read the related topics in the Information Forum. These are over the 100k limit , so I linked them. I also split the topic so that the ZR5 wheel thread stays on topic -HJ
Thanks,

Re: PA3 wheels
I would disagree. Most crew cab owners around here have changed wheels. Either they have gone to aftermarket wheels or as in my case switched to ZR5 wheels.RaleighBlaZeR2 wrote:... most CC owners seem to be sticking with stock...
I think the majority have aftermarket though. If I were to guess the black "rockcrawler" wheels are predominant. I think there are at least five or six with them.

Yes, there are people in here who have changed.
This was originally posted in response to a posting where advice was given to look for some N90s and moved to this area of the forum. Therefore, the posting it followed is no longer there.
I guess I should rephrase my statement to say that most people who choose to stay with factory rims either use ZR5s or N90s. I was just wondering why nobody seems to have done the "different" thing of putting PA3s on their CC.
The truth is that I am curious to see what they look like on a CC...especially one with ZR5 flares. So far I haven't found a picture of a CC to look at with them on except Blazers and Ext Cabs.

What about these?wamason wrote:I absolutely love the look of the PA3's, and would probably jump on them providing I find a set rediculously cheap somewhere.
$50 plus shipping is pretty cheap for 5 wheels.

That is a good deal HJ. PA3s came with the ZR2 package in both Blazers and Pickups for the past few years. They were optional on other Blazers and S-10s.

Hmmm.....seems my Zr2.com account is gone. Brule, do you happen to know his zipcode and the weight of the wheels? 86 lbs for 4 would be right wouldn't it?HenryJ wrote:What about these?wamason wrote:I absolutely love the look of the PA3's, and would probably jump on them providing I find a set rediculously cheap somewhere.

Just a guess , but I would think heavier than ZR5 wheels?
Box them in pairs and my guess would be 45-50# per pair.

Would love to see some pics of your CC if you get PA3s Walt. I like the idea of it being factory wheels, but not stock...like ZR5s on ZR2s...a little bit different.
I like aftermarket too. Eventually I will probably get some bigger rims and tires like Henry.
N90s were about 47-48 pounds for two to ship together. UPS shipped the 4 N90's in packs of two for $62 total from NC to GA. They only took two days to get there too.

Does anyone in this forum actually have PA3 wheels on their rig? I am just really curious to see what they look like on a CC....
Here is a close up I just found of the PA3s:

That surprises me.
How come nobody has tried? I have seen them on 2 and 4 door Blazers, 2 door S-10s, S-10 ext cabs, but never on a CC either.
They are good looking wheels...agressive looking wheels...stock on ZR2s. I would think that putting PA3s on a CC would be unique and different.
What does everyone else think?

Understood. I decided to go with some factory wheels until I get bigger tires. At least they are different. Really like the AR Bajas, but they do not have the correct backspacing.
