it was, the donut was off of an 88 cherokee and it looked like it had never been touched. As soon as we let my truck down off the jack the tire popped off the bead. the dude didn't care so I just drove back on the rim all the way back to the entrance of the park in 2wd.
I thought you guys would like that. take it as a lesson to NEVER wheel without a spare b/c the only time you will need it is the time you don't have it!!!!!!!!!!!!
no, I would never have even considered going through this trail when I was still on my ifs lift. It would have been really scary if not impossible on the ifs, b/c it just doesn't flex and when the front of your truck follows the terrain it used to get pretty scary. The pictures don't do it too much justice, that trail was pretty knarly.
the wheeling I did on ifs was quite a bit more tame.
yeah - you must have that smart-trac or , some type of all wheel drive or something huh?
lol - what exactly was that guy babbling on about??

I think they were trying to figure out why my front tires weren't spinning. I do have the autotrack transfer case but I was told on another forum that it acts just like a regular 2speed case but it just has the autotrack as an option and it doesn't affect the performance of the 4lo (I am not sure if that is true or not....) but I know my t-case has been leaking for a while and it was probably just being a pos b/c I backed up and tried it again without changing anything and the front started spinning again. so who knows??? I don't really care personally as long as it keeps workin for the most part untill I replace it with something that won't break.
"So I take it your front diff is not locked?"
I don't have a locker in my front diff, it is open but one wheel should have still been spinning and they kept telling me that none of the fronts were spinning so I am not sure what happened but it seemed to work ??beats me

The clip fell off of the pump and it is rocking back and forth sawing your transfercase in two. Take it apart and fix it now or pay $700 for a good used case.
Been there , fixed that

it is leaking out of the rear output seal around the driveshaft, I think the seal is just a little stretched b/c I have taken out my driveshaft quite a few times and probably hit it or something.
where was yours leaking from? or was it the same place?
