30 or 31's and mileage
Is there a big difference in mileage loss going from stock rubber to larger dia. tires ?? I am going with a 30 " Pirelli Scorpion A/T; act 29.6" dia. or a 31" Pro Comp A/T ;act 30.2" . Also does the weight of the tire influence the mileage ,because the pro comp's are 41 pounds... THANKS...

The Scorpions will be pretty much dead on if your rig is like mine. My tires are 29.7 inches and I adjusted........adjusted, and adjusted with my HPPIII and it was always off according to two diffrent GPS units, I run. I put the setting for tire size back to stock and my speedo was dead on
ANY time you move more weight your miles per gallon will decrease as jeff024 advised.

Man I wish I got the mileage you guys get. I average between 16 and 17 all the time. I have the 3.42 gears, stock tires, and I do mostly highway driving with a few stop and go's. I did notice running the A/C has the biggest effect on my mileage though.
