Things went pretty well except for the few hoses and sensors I forgot to reattach....The is a stronger mid-range pull and it definately runs a lot cooler! No more ungodly hot air pouring in!! I realized that installing headers will be next to impossible so exhaust may be it for me. I am thinking that should help improve my torque as well.
I think this might be why!

I just installed my CFM throttle blade and slightly adjusted the idle screw. I lowered it a few hundred rpms....any ideas?

About what?

The PCM controls the idle speed. The throttle stop just keeps the butterfly from sticking.

So for the guage to work for a few seconds and then drop all the way down is related to what? A loose sensor maybe? Anyone know where in the engine compartment I would look for this sensor?

Look for the ECT sensor in the left cylinder head. It resides between the exhaust ports.

Ok this is where things get really wierd! After my last post last night I haven't even gone outside until this morning. Now when I drive everything works like normal!?! This doesn't make any sense to me at all, but at least the guage is working now. I gather that this must be an electrical gauge rather than a mechanical...good to know for future reference. :?
