Sonoma Denali grille

Sonoma Denali grille
I have loved the look of the Yukon Denali (and now Sierra Denali and Envoy Denali). Evidently many more do too! GMC is making a killing on little more than badging and that cool grille. I want one (a grille) for my Sonoma. I'm not talking about one of those cheap imitations inserts that I've seen on several 90's model trucks and Suburbans (they look like they were made out of aluminum foil). I'm talking about the real deal.
Has anyone seen where one can be had?

thats pretty cool...i was thinking of wipping up the honey comb style grill and chrome plating it and then throwing some older envoy lights on my truck for now. 10 grand seems like alot fpr a front end swap

I can't wait to see what that grille looks like. Will it be an insert or something that replaces the current. I guess an insert would be easiest. You are one handy dude. I wish I could just make stuff for my truck. I'm impressed. If you made some available, I might buy one (after seeing how it turns out). You're killing my truck budget. I like it!

I look forward to seeing what it looks like. I was just down at the beach and Denalis are EVERYWHERE. It seems it is the vehicle of choice for all the wealthy beach-condo-owner-types and private school soccer moms. I've checked all the after-market sources and nobody's making them for the Sonoma that I can find. You might find there's a niche market that could prove to be lucrative. The main thing I think is that it looks like the real deal, not like the fake punch grilles. Please keep me posted!
I just went back to the GMC website and looked at some pics of the different Denalis. It looks like the Envoy Denali has smaller holes in the grille. I can't copy and paste the images, but you can go to http://www.gmc.com/envoy/photos.jsp#top and click on the Envoy Denali tab and go through the pics to see what I mean. The pics are great quality.
I like the smaller hole look. It might be better for our Sonomas don't you think? The bigger holes seem to be more appropriate for the full-sized trucks with the big-mouth grilles.
What do you think?
