Old style oil pan fit in place of late style cast alum pan??

Will the older style metal oil pan fit on the later style 4.3? Mine's a 2001 with the late style cast aluminum. Thanks.

Well, they're outa stock. Anyone know of a supplier for a steel pan?

Well, upon further study, it won't fit. Long story, but I used washers and jb weld to fix temporarily.
