Post by cuddy »

So theres a lot of these, but i havent seen any exactly like this since ive been here ( not to long ) so if theres a post thats the same just direct me to it and this will be deleted.
So i have a blazer (2005) from canada by the way, and im looking into putting a superlift 6" SL on it. The question is whether to go with 32's or 31's. Ive been looking at steve2003s truck and it looks really nice, although if i could get away with 32/11.5/15 i would like to, no body lift and 4" of backspacing (or 3 3/4 whatever wheel i decide to go with) so you think it will work or should i just go with 31's?

Thanks

Tyler

i havent been able to find it on their website, and ive been looking for numbers on the kit as well. k328 seems to be the ZR2, k776 is the s10? k790 is the blazer ... dont know if that is correct so can someone who knows check cause the superlift dealers in canada dont have a clue cause they go by superlifts website.

I know at least for the S-10s SL recommends a 33X10.50X15 on stock backspacing (which is 6" on a 7" wide wheel). You'd be an inch shorter but an inch wider and with vastly different offset so it's hard to say whether you'd rub or not....are you against "shaping" your fenders if need be?

ok, i am running 32" on 8" wheels and 4" bs with the sl 6" and pa 2" and sl 1" shacles the front is realy close. so if u plan on wheel'n it i would go with 31" tires. if you dont mind cutting your fenders then go with the 32".

Jeggers Is It The Height Or Width Of The Tire That's Getting Close??

I Was Thinking 6"SL W/ No Bodylift And Was Gonna Run 8" Rims W/ 4.25" BS And Was Gonna Use A 265/75R16 Tire Which Is 31.9" Tall x 10.5" Wide On A 7.5" Wheel..Should I Rethink This??

HenryJ Or Anybody Else With Any Opinions??...This Will Be An Expensive Upgrade To Not Work.
