Sorry about that HJ, I should have known better than that, don't mean to make your job harder than it is. I was just trying to make the picture bigger for everybody to see.HJ wrote:Linked the image to the resized gallery image. 100k limit on posted photos-HJ
Jeggers,
Looks like you have the same exact skidplate that I do, I was just wondering because you said something about six bolts to mount it, but it's looks like we're the same. Four bolts for the mounts, four bolts for the skid plate. I was just wondering before if that skidplate was going to work with the steering stablizer and I guess it did, did you have any problems with that? By the way looks good
Steve

If I said six Bolts before (wait here it comes) I was wrong . Sorry for the confusion. Steve you are correct 4 and 4. The stabilizer mounts to the back side of the centerlink and to the passenger side upper control arm drop bracket, it's really tucked in there. So they don't even come close to each other. the only way to get a good pick of it would be to drop the belly pan.steve wrote:Jeggers,

yah so it mounts to something other then the crossmember is what your saying? and what about the top same as the stock sheild? see i originally thought the skid would be kind of like mine where it bends around the sway bar and back up to the old mounting holes but it doesnt... ( my bad) thats why i thought 40 bucks to install it was crazy but if theres more to it i understand, im sorry steve

you could mount it to the stock location on the top the bottom mounts to a bracket that mounts to the lca bolts. sl uses brackets that mount to the stock location on the top.

jeggers does it look like a reason they do that? seems more complicated unless needed because of part of the superlift kit :S i would think it would be easier to just mount it to the origanal place. ah well i would have to really see it in person before i could figure out excatly how it mounts thanks for the pics
