Proper tool storage
Sorry, but I have to give a little background before I pass on my accumulated knowledge of proper tool storage to our younger members of the forum
I knew Top_Sgt and I had planned my BL for today (Sat) and I was at right around 9 K so, I changed my oil and filter on Thurs. after work. Well, I could not locate my oil filter tool (for lack of a better term) and I promptly attributed the lost tool to my wife who, has been known to use my tools for very imaginable purposes.
Well, I luckily was able to unscrew my filter by hand (must have been my Wheaties) and replaced it.
Today, we dove into the BL and I yanked off my front aluminum shield and out came the filter "tool"
I thought....hmmmmmm........what an ingenious place to store it and it will always be handy
In the next chapter we will discuss loud noises that " a soon to be spouse" thinks they hear and what possible reasons that causes them to hear such sounds

When we are young we complain about kids borrowing tools and hiding, losing , misplacing , or just plain not putting them back.
Looks like when you get older...you hide them from yourself

You speak wisely
In the past, I have looked years for a certain torc(sp) screw driver to use on my benchmade automatic (switchblade style} knives and finally found one.
One day I noticed the tip was white colored
I asked my" better half" as to a possible explanation and she told me that it was only used for "starter" holes for her "weekly" picture rearranging.
I gave her own set of tools and I am no better off now.
Just a piece of advice to members who have spouses mechanically depended.
