Front bumper
The guy on this link http://www.cardomain.com/id/nfarthing03 built himself a new front bumper for his Sonoma. I think it looks real good but not sure how strong it is. He said that it was made out of 3/16" sheet metal and only weighs about 100lbs. Not sure what he expects with 46,000 lbs D-rings. He also said that he is working on a rear bumper but it's not done yet. I asked him if he planned on makeing them to sell but he didn't think so. Maybe someone on this site like bubaloo1983 could do something like that and sell it. I'd be interested.

I agree with top_sgt. Honestly, I am not sure his would be even close to strong enough for a winch but I do know if someone is going to build something like that, they need to build it with a winch in consideration. It doesn't look like his could accommodate one, wether it's strong enough or not, unless some kind of brackets were fabricated.top_sgt wrote:hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... with a bumper like that.....where's the winch????????

Yeah, the one you posted looks good but I was talking about the one that I originally posted.jeff024 wrote:the bumper above is winch ready
The only thing that I see about the one you posted is that it looks really heavy duty. I doubt if they make one for the S10. Probably only be available for full size and heavy duties. Also, if it's high grade alloy, it stands to be very costly.
Here's a site that will custom make them for your truck. They typically stick with Tacos and 4 Runners but if someone would bring their truck in, they would custom build it. I think they are located in California somewhere.
