Nu-cell battery

Post by HenryJ »

I knew this guy.

He is one of those guys who has an air of arrogance about him. All his friends treat him like the king. He always has lots of money, fast cars, good looking women.
I can't be sure about most of the money that I saw come and go , but some of it was probably from selling drugs. I never saw this first hand, but had my suspicions.

I heard that he designed and applied for the patent to a nuclear celled battery. He had pictures, schematics, and made one heck of a sales pitch. This guy was good and could really sell. He had everything except a product in production. He was so good that he sold stock in this company with out anything but ideas, half finished prototype models, and paper.
Using the proceeds he bought a fairly reputable auto parts speed shop. It didn't take long before it went bankrupt. Then people started wondering about the progress of the battery. He claimed there were delays, and might have been OK with the stall tactics, but people started talking. He had sold over 200% of the stock in the company, and the companies assets were nothing more than the paper applications models and drawings. I heard that litigation was pending.
None of this really slowed his lifestyle.
I still saw him , his car, or it's engine show up to ruin "my day in the sun" at the street nationals.
His car was a Mazda Manta running a two stage fogger nitrous , Hilborn injected stroker small block. This thing leaves the line with the left front tire 24" off the ground and easily pounds an 8 second quartermile at 3500 ft altitude

He was the big dog in the street racers association. A pretty well organized rebel racing organization. Big bucks changed hands in the street racing circuit. More than one race was done for no less than $3000.
His time came though. While racing early morning on the back road drag strip he wrecked his car and was killed.

Watch what you do in this life. Be honest and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Life has a way of paying you back for the deeds you do. Make sure you get the payment that you really want.

(Just some food for thought.)
