Wipers

Post by BobbleSmitty »

I have read in the past on the forum that some of you have had problems with the wipers when you turn them off that they don't go all the way down to where they are supposed to rest. Well, I had taken my truck in for some warranty work about a month and a half ago and told them about the problem with my wipers. I got my truck back and they said that they could not recreate the problem. So I told him, next time it happens, I am going to bring it in and show him. It's happened a bunch of times since then, but I have never been able to stop using the wipers and drive it to the dealership b/c it was snowing or raining and I wouldn't be able to see. Well this morning, on my way downtown, it just so happened that as I was passing the dealership the wipers messed up! So I turned around and pulled right into the service garage to show them :) I will be taking it in next week or so to see what they can do with it. Have any of you guys been able to get it fixed???

It is a pretty easy fix. They will just replace the circuit board (wiper module).
