It's gotta be the wildest 4x4 I've seen yet.

Looks too pretty to take it off-roading...

4 wheel steering thing is a great idea, though!

That 4 wheel steering is the best part. I like all the different "modes" it does. I think the 2 Hemis are a little overkill though.

Is this the one you are talking about?

I would like to see someone hold on to this thing with those kind of times. I remember when this thing came out in 2003, and at the time you could buy one for a mere $500,000, but at that price it never really became a production motorcycle. :(

I remember seeing pictures of that thing. It just doesn't look real somehow. My first impression was it looked like it came out of the movie Tron.

Ya, but could they still hold on with the massive wind resistance at 300+ mph?

I am pretty positive that the Y2K bike is just as impressive as that bike, and it is in production.

The Dodge Tomahawk was unveiled at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show. I am not aware of any production bike with similar performance #'s. Do you have any links to the Y2K bike? :?

I will see what I can dig up. Jay Leno owns one. They are the fastest production bike out. Something like 0-250 in 5 seconds. I don't think its a v-10, t
though.

here ya go!

Ok, now I remember this one. :) It is very different though with its jet turbine engine. Is this bike actually for sale, or was it like the Tomahawk, where if you happed to have a half million you could get one, but they're not really a production bike? The 1/4 time is not impressive at all. At the local Wednesday night drags at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) there were at least 4 different street bikes that went that fast and 1 was even faster with a 9.24 sec. pass. These are normal production street bikes with some upgrades. The turbine on that Y2K probably sounds way cool when accelerating. 8)

Yes, they are in production, but you can't get them at any local bike dealer, gotta order them through the company. And the quarter mile time isn't that impressive indeed. But with some minor upgrades it will run pretty well. If you want to hear how they sound, watch the movie "Torque", they have one at the end. Sounds nasty. I was reading that Jay Leno has one and he was at a stop light once and smelled something burning, he looked back and he was melting the front bumper off the car behind him :)
