41 Degrees
Any ever notice that the CC rides exceptionally smooth and has a little more pep to it when the temp outside is right around the low to mid 40s? I wonder why that is?

Interesting to hear. If 40-50 wasn't so d@mn cold, It would be my new favorite temps.

I think all my vehicles run best in 40-50 degree outside air temp. I think low humidity helps a little as well.

These are the progressive 2bbl Webers like what they used on Pintos and Vegas and what not back in the '70s. I don't think they are a pain to tune. I think they are IMPOSSIBLE to tune! I used to have 2 of them but got tired of trying to keep them sync'd so I swapped intakes and now I'm just running one. It's still a pain. I built this nightmare back before I got "old" and decided I liked low maintenance! I'm sold on electronic fuel injection now!killian96ss wrote:Both of mine are the same way.Rusty wrote:I know all my vehicles run better in the cooler weatherOne of my favorite Chevy V-8 setups is with dual side draft Webers on a custom made intake. They are a pain to tune though.Guess that's what I get for running Webers. Oh well.
