whats up guys... i think i got some more problems with me truck..
i was turning today with my music off ( not often i do this) and as i was turning a heard some wierd noises on each turn like somthings busted or rubbing or not working all that great upfront. it seems like its right in the front end so it is probably i result of my 35s ( of course lol) im not all that knowledgable about steering componets so i was wondering what could have gone wrong? i have heard tie rods ball joints ect but if i got some info i can try to isolate the probelm before going to a shop.

Ya know, I have a similar question.....
When I cut the steering wheel ALL THE WAY to either side, It makes a disgusting noise..... I knows its normal, cause I have heard a lot of chevy's do it...but what the heck is it?

Check the frame for a polished spot where the tires are rubbing the frame?

This is probably what you are hearing, but I also had some other loud noises that turned out to be the steering box failing causing the PS pump to burn out. I have had my gearbox replaced 2 times, and my PS pump replaced 1 time with only 52k miles on my CC. My idler arm was also toast after 40k miles.HenryJ wrote:Check the frame for a polished spot where the tires are rubbing the frame?

However, bubaloo has the 5" TM lift, you got the 6" SL. 1" could make all the difference.

to run 35s you have to have cut fenders. and yeah they do look big however when you have your fenders cut like mine though it loosk like you could run a 37 or something if our front end wasnt a wuss
