Truck Tents

Does anybody have any experance with the Sport tents that fit in the bed of your truck? I am wondering if it will fit in the short crew cab bed okay. I am about 6' tall and dont know if I will fit in the bed of my truck

My better half and I are thinking about getting one if it will work to travel around with this summer. any info anyone has would be helpful.

I've seen quite a few of these and similar products for 6 & 7 foot beds but, never for the extra short crew cab bed.

Ya thats what I have seen, for the longer beds

. I was wondering if one of those will fit the extra short bed but cant find any reliable info about it. Thanks for the reply

the only prob is. who goes camping with nothing in the bed. when i am out, my bed is full of stuff. so the tent on the ground is still more practical IMO

Me too but I'm getting to old to camp on the ground

besides I thought that is what the back seat was for, all the stuff ya brought

well actaully my back seat is full and so is my bed. but how is the bed more comfortable than the ground?

Because when I get up the next morning I step down instead of getting off the ground

I find that as I get older I tend to use gravity to my advantage when ever possible

This is the first one that I've seen that even acknowledges the existence of a tailgate...

The "Sportz Tent II"

But, as far as I can tell, not available in extra short bed length.
