The NEW 6” F.I.T Series Lift System for 1995 to 2003 Mid-Size 4WD General Motors S10 / S15, Pickup, Blazer and Jimmy

Super lift finally came out with their 6" lift for regular s10's. Does anyone know where to find a picture of a blazer with it on. Curiouse to see how it looks, on superlifts website it shows it on a yellow zr5 and looks pretty sweet.

here's what they recomend for tire/wheel

Tire: 33x10.50 tire (up to 32.7” actual diameter) with 5.5” to 6” backspace wheelOR 275 / 70R tire (up to 32.4” actual diameter) with 5” backspace wheel. Wheel: 8” wide wheel that is 15” to 17” in diameter.run a 33x10.50 tire on a 5.5" - 6" backspacing wheel

pretty cool i think
5"trailmaster. 32"mt/r's. Flowmaster 40. k&n cold air intake.american racing wheels.hypertech programmer. visonik subs in box combo. clear corner lights.

Camelott112,
Are you saying that your installer won't install SL's new kit because your crew cab is an "2004? (the last year for the S-10 platform)
If so, then you are in luck as the new kit "does" fit the 2004 year model.

hey guys
speaking of the new superlift i've had mine on order since the 25th of october and i was told it would ship in 2 weeks. 2 weeks went by so i gave them a call and again they said it should ship in another 2 weeks. well 4wheelparts already has my money so i got anxious and called again yesterday to ask how the progress was and i was told it should ship in 2 weeks. i know some of the guys on this site know people at superlift and i was just wondering if they have heard anything about when this lift might actually ship. i bought my o4 cc at the end of sept. and i've been trying to get it lifted ever since (new tires and wheels are just sitting in the garage ready to bolt on!) . i couldn't get my hands on a trailmaster so i was glad to here superlift did their press release and i ordered it that day but it was alot of money to spend and still be empty handed. any insider info anyone knows would be greatly appreciated
thanks

I have no dog in this fight but, I believe Superlift is sincere and doing all they can do and unforeseen problems keep cropping up.

I do have a problem if someone took your money before they shipped it to you or had it in their possession.

Just my 2 cents :x

As f9k9 stated, problems with outsourced suppliers have proven to be a delay in getting S-10 kits to the dealers.
I personally checked the shipping agenda this morning and kits will be leaving either today or tomorrow, without fail. I do not know where you ordered your kit, so I cannot state as to how long it will take for them to receive their shipment.
I would question the dealers ability to charge your credit card prior to your purchase being shipped.
I hope this helps, Superlift has done everything possible to fill the initial pipeline of orders as quickly as possible. There are a tremendous amount of items to address prior to a kit leaving the door and Superlift does not control all aspects of all the components.
You patience is appreciated,

well i just called 4wheel parts to ask why they charged my card before the item was ready to ship and they said it was standardand thats how they reserved my order....or something like that. well for giggles i asked them when the kit was going to ship and the guy said hang on let me call superlift because thats supposed to drop ship straight to you from them. well after being on hold for a couple of minutes he came back on and said superlift told him it should ship mid december! i just started laughing because at this point what else could it do. i'd like to get the lift on before the snow flies here in michigan so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the info mickm gave me was correct and the superlift salesman told 4wp mid december just to cover himself and not make promises he couldn't keep. i guess only time will tell.

This may have been discussed before but, maybe we could have a section addressing which "online" retailers are rebuttably, provide excellent service and ones that obviously need to be pointed out as "not so helpful".

I can think of one retailer that needs to be added to the "not so helpful" list already

Members could post suggestions on shopping, record keeping, order tracking etc.

I think of one right off! :!:

Print everything from purchase confirmnation until it is on your CC when dealing with purchasing online. I know that you can file your stuff in folders with Outlook Express, AOL, Earthlink but, when you have a major desktop failure and you have to reformat C drive it is all lost. Coming from a LE background I want it on hard copy and/or a CD-RW. I have had floppys crap out too, so I stopped using them.

Looks lke time to split, Brule
