flip lift

ok i will be the first to say that i know all there is to not know about suspension, i am like so totally clueless, as if, like anyways, what would happen if you flipped the rear, the rearend is over the leafs, what would happen if you took all that apart and put it back together with the leafs on top then the rearend, that would raise the end, it is all so easy in my mind 7000 miles away from my truck, would that even work

yes i would...and thats what a sspension lift is on our trucks, however you do need a few new brkts and things to make it work...those of which are supllied with a lift

Ya its called an axle flip kit and it is part of the trailmaster lift.
I just put one on my car and you can see pics of it on my cardomain.
Adds about 4" of lift.

The flip kit for the rear that comes with the tm comes with:
brake line extender
leaf spring perches
new u bolts and nuts
new longer shocks

If you're talking about unbolting everything and welding in new spring perches on top of the axle...then yes...it can be done.

If you mean unbolting everything and just turning the axle over, then no...you'll always go in reverse.
