Crew Cab Lifted

Post by Bad_Ass_S10 »

I was in Daytona this weekend (march 25 - 28 ) and I saw a crew cab, black with a 6" susp. and 2" body lift, I didnt geta chance to stop and talk to him but rode up beside him on the strip, We kinda exchanged mods while driving - I think it might have been one of the guys on here, and if so I want to let him know that I liked his ride and that it was a very clean truck and if anyone had questions on lifting an IFS, I give it a thumbs up!

It was probably highroller. He's got the 7" TS kit with a BL I think.

Yeah I wonder how his truck is making out? He is running 33's on ifs and we all have this negative notion about the TS lift kits...I think we need Highroller to come on every now and then to give us an update which may turn people into considering the lift??? :thumb:

Yea, it's all in how it was istalled, his was probably done correctly. There are some ppl that have had problems with the TM lift also, particularly the a-arm breaking, but that is possibly cause too much material was taken out for the cut to clear the shocks. Alot of variables there.

If I remember correctly, when he had it installed didn't he say that the shop that put it on reinforced a lot of the parts and for some of the parts they just made new ones. That would explain why he hasn't had any problems.
