So in my quest to find a lift kit I have stumbled upon this superlift 2" Sl for non-zr2. it seems that everybody thinks it sucks. Why it that?

Well, for once I did a search for 2" superlift, and I didn't find any good info, other than those of us mentioning that it sucks.
The 2" Superlift (aka Rough Country) is a rear add-a-leaf kit and in the front it puts in a new upper a-arm that has more of a downward angle to it. This angle pushes the lower arm down lower once all installed. This creates the 2 inch lift, but it does not lower your front differential any. that means that your CV joints (which are one of the weaker parts in our IFS) now are working at much steeper angles, and will wear quicker. The kit includes a "more pliable" CV boot that is supposed to keep from tearing as easily - I have no idea how well that works. The A-arm setup also puts your balljoints in more of a bind, and they will wear quicker.
No, I don't have this kit, nor does anyone I know. I am going completely on what I have read on multiple s-10 websites, and from a basic understanding on how all of the front end components work together in an independent suspension setup.
too many people don't like the kit, and since there is no other alternative for the price, it's because of brand loyalty in my opinion.
