SPACER AND BL QUESTIONS

I want to order some wheel spacers and cant seem to find the lug spacing anywhere in our forum, I think i'm going with either 1.75" or 2.0". should I go with performance wheel? and what size numbers do I need to order? I want to order a PA BL soon too! are your front tow hooks accesable after? what about sliders of nerfs? how do they fit on after a BL? or a frame mounted hidden hitch? sorry for all the questions.

I need spacers soon, it's driving me crazy having those rear wheels inset so much

Look in the Mod and Stock info on wheels, gives all the necessary info on bolt pattern, threads etc....
I personally went with 1.5 in the back and it looks great...

Bolt pattern is 5 on 4.75". I've got 2" on mine from Performance Wheel. I personally think they're the best. 2" is perfect for appearance because the rear fenders are flared slightly, but 1.5" ones are all that's need to match the rear track to the front.

Front tow hooks are accessible only if you do two different mods to them...either add spacers to lift them up into the stock locations, or do like Hobie and I did and put them back on the bottom of the frame without spacers and trim the bottom of the front air dam so that they fit below the stock locations.

Everything else you mentioned can be modified to work aith a BL, but it will take some custom fabrication and a little extra work.

I got my hooks back into the stock location by cutting 2 pieces of 2 inch square tubing, 3/16 inch wall, 8 inch long and drilling holes that line up with the tow hook mounting holes.

bought some grade-8 bolts 3.5 inches long and put it all back together.

You will still have to trim out the openings to clear the fram horns -- just takes a dremel tool, and some patience - and a lot of those cut-off wheels.

I had a hidden hitch brand class3, and decided to leave it alone after the BL -- doesn't look to unsightly to me

Hopefully getting some other goodies for xmas -- if I get step rails, I'll take pics on how to mod them to fit better.

Nice, lot of progress since i have seen it last.. And those aren't golf cart tires stupid... GM suck at buliding somona's and s-10 cc.. Not any room for big tires stock heigth.. They should of built a cc the heigth of a ZR2 or Highrider... Tires were the first thing i did but the only so far... lol

he is a personal friend of mine...also, the owners of the blazer and the zr2 are all my friends..plus you will see my truck too! paul just got some for his truck..

i got the double square cuz i wanted to cover up the side of the frame rail where the BL exposed it a bit

Or bolt them to the underside of the top frame horn, after reinforcing it, as I did. I've got pics on my Yahoo pages.

NICE! I got the sizes from the mod info section. I ordered the 1.5" after looking around I think they'll be the best for what I want. there wasn't any info on thread size, will that be an issue? Thanks for all the info.

There shouldn't be any thread size issues. Did you get them from Performance Wheel?

I don't know what the different manufacturers do, but my AIM spacers came with 1/2" studs, the stock studs are 12mm.
