Most of the information is here: Boise Spring Works KitJeff wrote:OK guys, I am finally at a point that I can order the spring kit, How much are they, and how do I order them. does anyone have any pics of them installed.

Mine cost just under $130 and Melloyellow's was about the same (OTD).

Be sure to mention the crew cab forum and that Brule sent you!
P.S. Do you have a local spring shop? If you take the information and photos from: Boise Spring Works Kit a good spring shop should be able to build you a kit and you'd save the $20 or so, for freight.

Brule, I think I will also be ordering one of these Boise kits myself. Have yours settled any or are you still at 2 inches of lift? How's the ride when loaded?
Thanks,
Pete

I know I am still at 2". Not much settle in my case. The ride is stiffer but I like it that way. Is is a truck. Mine also came from Boise. Brule and I put them on. You can see pictures at http://www.s-10crewcab.com/coppermine/.

I'll have to measure to check for sure, but I haven't noticed any settling.Retep wrote: I think I will also be ordering one of these Boise kits myself. Have yours settled any or are you still at 2 inches of lift? How's the ride when loaded?
EDIT
RR-36.25
RF-35.25
LF-35.5
LR-36.5
(no it is not scientific, and I did not check air pressures or the acuracy of the concrete , etc. Just measured from the ground to lip of flare, on center.) quick 'n easy
As for the ride, the only difference that is noticeable ,is that it sits level with a load.
The boating season was over early for us here (7th year of a five year drought cycle) , so I haven't been pulling a load much.
It does flex and ride as well as stock, only higher, IMO.

Maybe you could post those measurements again. They were lost in the change.HenryJ wrote:I'll have to measure to check for sure, but I haven't noticed any settling.Retep wrote: I think I will also be ordering one of these Boise kits myself. I couldn't really decide where to post this update so, it will land here until HenryJ decides to move it.
Early on in '04 I did the TB crank and shackle thing. It is an extremely long story so, I will skip it. Eventually, I was pleased with the combination of the shackles and TB crank. 4 yrs later I have begun to notice the "rear end sag" that is common on ZR2 blazers.
I am thinking that our rear leaf springs are stock 2d or extended cab springs and not ones developed for the additional wgt that a CC puts on them. I do have the Helwig helper springs that are listed in the mod section. Cranking on them may help but, if, I was looking at this again...........I would look long and hard at the Boise spring packs.
