S10 crew part out.

I just want to let every one know there is an s10 crew cab at my local pick n pull. the rear doors only have minor surface rust. The cab and bed a pretty much shot. When I was there yesterday the engine and trans were gone. But the transfer case and drive shaft are there. The interior in complete and in good shape. I will upload the to photo bucket and post soon. But the name of the pick n pull it's at is.

As you can see almost all there minus engine and trans.

Ya I really have considerd moving south or west to get away from it, my first s10 frame totaly rusted almost completely in 2, My 2nd s10 is currently rusting the same way. And my crew is trying to. I HATE salt!!!!!

I'm considering buying those doors my self just for back up if mine rust. That's how bad it is I have to stock pile parts for unavoidable rust.

But just so you know the front door should be the same for any blazer 1998 up with same options(power locks,power mirrors,exc exc)

I'd take the blank panel to the left of the radio if it's still there and not broke. Should be able to pop it out with a tiny screwdriver.

JUST so everyone knows, I found this out the hard way. Front doors on crew cabs are electrically exactly the same as a Blazer, since they were made in the same factory. If you get a door from a regular S10 pickup you will need to remove most of the guts and replace it with the guts from your crew door. About the only electrical thing that is the same is the window motor speaker and mirror (if heated). The handles, door latch, wire harness etc is all different.

Mine needs the dash vent for the defrost. that seems to have fallen apart. How is the driver side door panel? They dont seem to fair well on any of these trucks.

Approachmountian. Sorry some one pulled the door panel off and destroyed but I think any power window door panel will fit. Now as for the dash vent I dident look but I'm going back tomarrow of Sunday and I can check but those are brittle in bellow 0 weather so I dought I will be able to get it off but I'll see what I can do.

Stucky: I got your dash panel it was free(I know the guys there we'll). If you pay shipping it's yours. I have pics I'll post in a while. But the pasenger and driver mirrors are there and there heated. Let me know if you want them we can work out a price and I can get them for you.

British ninja: the driver front and rear door is there still but the front is beat up pretty bad (I'll post pics in a while)

Ok here's the picture of the front driver door. I don't know if you can see it but there's a lot of dents and scratches along the bottom.

And here's the picture of the pass mirror. And I have a picture of the hvac controls where the button for heated mirrors is.

I'm sorry I'm not sure how to stop it from cutting off my pictures

I just thought of something else I could use, if you are going back soon. My buddy that was helping me dropped one of the clips for the battery tray into the core support, it's gone, my truck ate it. I'm not by my truck to look, but I'm pretty sure they are the same as the clips that hold the fan shroud to the core support. It's no biggie if you aren't going back soon, I can snag one locally if need be. It's something I keep forgetting about when I'm in town

Approachmountian : the driver front door panel is broken someone pulled it off an destroyed it. if you mean the pictures yes there cuting off quite a bit it may be hard to tell becoulse I started leaving a lot of extra room on the right side to try and compensate.

Stucky: I'm going back tomarrow so I'll try to grab you some clips. And I still have to check at the post office the cost of shipping but these little parts should fit in a flat rate envelope. I'll message you when I know the cost of shipping.

Sorry I'm very late here. That truck was scrapped before I could go back for the mirror.
