dex-cool flush
Flushed out the radiator today after reading about the recall here. The overflow was muddy looking but when i flushed it all came out clear. Replaced with Peak 150,000 mile heavy duty fluid. Any ideas why the overflow was muddy?

Excuse my ignorance, I have been out of touch with the forum for a while. Is there a dex-cool recall?nascarnutz wrote:Flushed out the radiator today after reading about the recall here.

Not that I have heard of. There is a class action lawsuit being organized, and GM no longer uses GM's Dexcool. Havoline took over as the extended life coolant supplier.Retep wrote:... Is there a dex-cool recall?
