Well, probably everyone's heard my opinion on synth's before. But I think they are the biggest waste of money, next to the Jiffy lube shops pushing 3k mile changes. I've been there, done that. The past 2 vehicles, I use the cheapest slippery stuff I can find and change every 7.5k miles. No problems!

You change your transmission fluid every 7,500 miles?

I always thought that was on the hundred thousand mile tune-up list.

Pretty sure He's talking about engine oil there.
Trans. should be serviced between 15,000 and 50,000 depending upon conditions.

 Yea, engine oil. I change tranny oil at factory required change intervals. And always change the filters, that is very important. And if this is your first time, get the deep sump filter. I think that's what it was called.
