keyless entry
i bought my cc without a keyless entry remote. As i am the 6th owner of this truck i dunno if it actually came with one. any ideas on how to find out if it did??

Check the RPO codes in the glove box. There is the thread stuck to the top that will help you decipher the RPO code list.
You are looking for AU0 (Lock control, remote entry)
You can get the correct fob from the dealer for under $50 , or take your chances on an ebay remote.
If you can find the correct part number, post it. I have a box of remotes. One might match up?
If you do have it , search for extending the range of the keyless entry receiver. The write up is in our mod pages: Extended Range Keyless Entry Antenna

umm theres no P/N on the remote, but the paper that came with it says GM SKU #605

yea, this one definitaly wasnt made for this truck, its got the button for the rear hatch.

The instructions should be in your owners manual.

Looks great but I was never happy with the fit and finish of them trucks. the Chevy model seems crummy inside and i wasnt happy with the lack of disc brakes on the rear of both brands, as well as the way they drove/rode. Anyone I have met so far with the Chevy Colorado is plagued with check engine light issues. the S trucks have treated me well over the years as long as i have treated them well.
