How can I tell if I have 3.42 or 3.73?
I have a 2003 Sonoma Crew Cab ZR5 and want to know how to identify what ratio my Rear Axle is set at. I've only had the truck for 2 weeks and I'm just trying to get to know her a little better.

So I would say, Yes. Though the identification plate will have the letter designation for GMC.

No wonder why driving on the highway really sucks..all this time i thought i had a 3.73
