Get ready for one of the worst experiences of your s-series owning life - Need to replace my heater core...need help.

I tried but gave up. My heater core started to leak this past February and at the time I didn't have a garage....

I payed my local dealer to change it for me.

It's not bad the second time. I've replaced about 10 of em now. Between two in the Xtreme, and several local S-series club members paying me to do thiers, I've gotten pretty decent at it.

Anyway, the hardest part is getting to the screw that is INSIDE the heater box on the firewall. Once I had that one figured out, I didn't have any problems taking the dash out of the way, and getting the heater core out of there.

With that said. It took me almost 6 hours to do it the first time. I've got it down to a measely 4 hours now with some experience.
