Warranty nearly up
Anything I should have the dealer check while they fix the T-Stat housing I found leaking today (see other post)? I figure I will ask them about the ball joints/idler arm and rest of steering components. I need them to see if they can find where the water is coming in on the drivers side foot well and I also want then to check the oil spot I found near the rear main seal.

Congrats! Now you can quit worrying about every little thing and concentrate fixing what needs to be done yourself
There is a TSB on the water leak issue. If it is not the heater core leaking. If the rear main oil spot doesn't leave a puddle on the drive way, clean it off and check it at your next oil change.
Think of out of warranty as being free. No worries about small stuff and hassling over someone else fixing it.

Back from dealership. I had them give the truck the once over while having the thermostat leak worked on. All the front end components are still within speck and their GM multi-point vehicle inspection sheet shows no current problems I need to deal with. They were not happy seeing the front spacers ( I had asked about steering not being as tight as I would like) they want to blame any problems with them, but everything checked out ok for now.
