Fender replacement...
I need to go junkyard hunting for a new right front fender for my CC to replace the one I bent last fall. I remember a discussion once about the front half of our crewcabs actually being Blazer or something. Are all the S-10 fenders the same or not? I'm hoping to find one the same color that I can bolt on and be done with it.

yep same sheetmetal for them all- I think that the fenders were the same even from the old-style grilles on the 94-96? models and the newer ones.

Same for all the second gen s-series as far as I know. (except RPO ZR2 of course)
Good luck on a color match. For the pewter there are nine variations.

The front fenders have 1/2" larger opening all the way around and a lip for the flares to mount. The inner wheel well differs as well and has the ZR2 stamp in the lower rear.adrenalnjunky wrote:...Zr2's got different sheetmetal? Wasn't aware of that - what was different?
Beyond that the profile is the same.
This gave them the same overall wheel opening with the flares attached.
