Blazer 1996 model, V-6 vortec, automatic, AC problem

Post by Qamar »

Hi Guys

For the last two or three days when ever i switch on my subject truck Aircondationer (MAX AC or AC) the compressor is not engaged there and then. Yes when i run the truck for 4 or 5 minutes with the AC switch on, the compressor gets engaged after that and then later on there is no problem during the driving. The compressor starts & stops with the thermostate position as it should work.
This problem usually happens when the truck engine is switched off for 5 to 8 hours.
Any help will be highly appreciated
Regards

Well i wanted to inform you that i had opened up the engine compartment and had pressed a switch on the top of the AC compressor. It clicked and settled properly on its place. After that there is no defect. Now whenever i switch on the compressor it gets engaged. Maybe during service that switch got disturbed.
I though its good idea to share this minor problem which was giving a constant problem to me
