Blazer 1996 Model, V-6 vortec engine,thermostate location

Post by Qamar »

Can anyone guide me as what is the exact location of the thermostate valve on my subject truck engine. Any help with pics will be highly appreciated as i have recently purchased the truck, and reletavily new on this make and model. Want to change the coolant as the truck have done 84000 KM. The service record says that it was never changed.

I am really grateful to you for this valuable information with pics. I have changed the coolant, after removing the thermostate. Now the thermostate along with the new coolant are back in the system and are doing well. I can feel the difference. the previous coolant had done 84000 Km todate.
