SIR AirBag Fuse

The airbag light is intermittently going on and off. I'd like to remove the SIR fuse until I get it repaired.
If I remove the SIR fuse, will it cause the airbags deploy at random? (Obviously not by an accident)

No. Removing the fuse disables activation.

Check for a worn clock spring. (steering wheel)
