Pretty cool to see all those zeros roll over. Digital takes some of the fun out of that. It is still cool to see

Re: 170,000 miles
That's just getting broke in for a Chevy! I'm not aware of anyone with more miles on a CC so it looks like your the winner! You should write your mileage in big numbers on your back window to show your pride, kind or like that oil commercial with Dale Jr at the end.ApproachMedium wrote:Exactly one year from my last post, 255k. Re: 170,000 miles
Hahah I guess I may be! I had thought about getting a sticker with removable letters or maybe magnetic. 2xx,000+ and counting!
Original engine, transmission is second unit, completely overhauled once already. When I bought the truck with 190K this trans was redone. Previously it was replaced at 33k because of complete failure. Most stuff in the truck is original other than the normal wear stuff. Engine is original but has a terrible idle misfire problem that I cant catch. It goes like hell though when the engine is under load and not idle. With the throttle blade mod and removing the silly pipe from the air box it has quite the response for something with over 250k on it. Unfortunately due to NJ emissions which I have been lurking behind for the past few years, it will not pass inspection due to the idle issue. The engine will be replaced once I have the funds together. I know if I "fix" the problem I could end up putting myself in more trouble with such an old motor, possibly leaving myself stranded with a dead engine so I am just leaving it alone for now!

83500 on my 02' Only put about 3500 a year. My 95 Jimmy is at 123,800 but the wife drives that. Surprisingly it runs better than the CC, with the exception of the Ac which is kaput on the Jimmy.

Re: 170,000 miles
I've still got the original motor and trans. On my third rear end though. The trans lost overdrive so i started off roading the old gal. Body is decent but the bed is starting to go on the bottom and fenders.
Re: 170,000 miles
9 months later I've only got 85505 on it. The Jimmy is @ 127,000. Transporting the grandkids all over can be fun and it's no place for car seats in a quad-cab. (Keeps my leather interior nice tho LOL).Torskdoc wrote:83500 on my 02' Only put about 3500 a year. My 95 Jimmy is at 123,800 but the wife drives that.
