My wife got mad at me last night because I was on this site rather than watching BB4 with her.

Can't we just unplug this thing, where ever it is?

I apparently have 2 cars that have it. I'd like to disconnect it but I'll bet they integrated it into something else like the PCM itself just to keep people from unhooking it. Wouldn't surprise me knowing GM and their "Safety first" antics. Do a search for "daytime running light disable" and you'll find a bunch of articles on how GM refuses to disconnect/disable the DRL even though there is no law (yet) requiring them. They site "safety reasons". Yeah right.

Is it just me or can you guys not turn your DRL's off just by pushing the Dome Light Override button I think 4 times.

Yes, Thats correct. I can also disable my DRL by pushing my dome override switch. I found it out by mistake one day while working on something else.

That's the same way I found mine -- I like having them on personally, I know everyone's opinion varies on it

I found that out about mine from the manual but it is not standard on all GM vehicles. The 99 Grand Am we had the lights could not be turned off. It sucked there are some places you go where you want the car running and the lights off. Oh well had to trade that one for the Firebird and the lights are manual anyway.

I guess I should read something other than fluid capacities and recomendations.
