Hot feet is an easy fix. remember to reverse it for the winter. Warm feet are a good thing then

Welcome aboard!!!
The "hotfeet" mod is such an easy one, that you can (and I do), make the fix for summer and then take it out for winter. I just found a piece of dowel, but a small bolt or cap off of a tube of glue could work too. Or you 'could' get fancy and put a small checkvalve in-line and open and close it as needed.
No-one would ever know it is there, and you would have a comfortable mint ride.

Enjoy your new crew! Mine is at 254K now so there is some confidence that it will last you quite some time. I may actually be taking mine for my trip to Michigan in the detroit area come August. If you see a champagne one with NJ plates around next month thats me. I head out for the week before the woodward dream cruise.

The Woodward Dream Cruse is awsome! If you watch long enough, you'll see just about anything on wheels. I'd love to go again, but thats a long shot for the near future.
