I don't recall seeing what year your truck is but mine (an 01) came with the cassette player already in it stock. So, unless you were born after 2001 it's not before your time.

Mine's an '01 too. I was 6 when it was made
its all about the ipods.

You must be one of the youngest on this forum! Us old geezers mostly don't have or use ipods, ipads, or other such electronic gadgets and before you say it yes I remember 8 track players and even OMG reel to reel tape decks.

Nope! Ya just forgot the capital C in front of that genre. One of a few I have never found any musical value in and I do like some of most music forms.
