Just could never wrap my head around Morse code, other than SOS it sounds like gibberish to me when it's being transmitted. I don't do foreign languages well either.

I can get the "jist" of some spanish. I know how to say "friend" in more than half a dozen ways, although I will not use the suspect phrases considering the teacher ;)

Morse code is a rather universal and primitive language. It may have value to understand it. I thin k it will have to wait though as I have other interests even though it does intrigue me.

I love the online translators for this stuff. I now carry an app on the Ipod for translating english to spanish. Comes in handy in the EMS field. I have stored many phrases to get medical histories. Hmm, wonder if there is a Morse code app?

I am in Vermont,no real need for a second language here unless you want to go to Canada and need French but when there I have found cash makes most French-Canadians bilingual quickly if they want me to spend it with them.

Guess what, they "have and app for that". Looks like a great little tool to translate and broadcast Morse code.
$0.99 is worth a try. Morse-it is the app.
Might learn code sooner than I think ;)

No Iphone for me. I have the Itouch. It does all the phone will do except make calls on its own. I added a mic and can now make wifi calls using Skype :mg:
No subscription $$ for me :woohoo:

Love it!

Well maybe "donte estel el e bano" would be good as well then. I don't know I just look it up. When is that universal translator going to get here?
