i just got a 04 gsxr 750 off a college kid in seattle that needed money for school. I thought i would just put it in the bed of my truck when i drive it back to Jacksonville from seattle. I didn't even think about if i could close the tailgate when i got it. I don't know the length of the bike. just wondering if anyone had put there bike back there and if the tailgate closed.

Here are the Specs . Measure your bed to see if it will fit. Do you have a bed extender?

Will a Medium size sport bike fit in the bed

Bike: Overall Length: 2040mm (80.3 in.)
Bed: Length at floor 1401mm (55.2 in.)

Inspect your tailgate cables.

Do you have a measuring tape? Just measure the bed from corner to corner with the tailgate closed. If it's less that 80.3 inches your going to have to go with the gate down or use a trailer...... You could ride it back :?:
