Factory Build Statistics

Does anyone know where to find the statistics of how many S-10 based vehicles, including CCs, Blazers or trucks were built in different years, how many were built with the ZR2 or ZR5 package, etc?

My 2005 is definitely a 4WD ZR2...loaded with all the goodies. However, a lot of people, dealers included, don't even seem to know that any S-10 based vehicles were offered in 2005. I was told that they only offered the Colorado and the Trailblazer...no S-10 based vehicle. If so, then what is that thing I have sitting outside?...LOL.

Because of all the confusion, I am wondering what the actual build statistics are for these vehicles. It is my understanding they also offered the Blazer ZR2 in a 2WD model for 2005, which seems a little odd.

I did find this web page with some stats:

2005 Blazer ZR2 Stats

However, this page does not include the build stats for 2005 ZR2s. I would like to find out where I can get those.

Thanks,

I've been curious for some time now how many S10 Crew Cabs were made each year from 01-04 and within each year how many were made with the different available colors. It would be interesting info if anyone could find it. I've looked, but I can't seem to find anything. :(

This is the best I could do from autoalliance in 2001 there were 21,011 s-10 and 5964 Sonomas built in the Linden Plant this does not include the Blazers or Jimmys. All other S-10 were built in Shrevport (157,913 in 2003). In 2003 there were 21,673 S-10 built and 7589 Sonomas built in Linden. These were probably Crew Cabs. By 2004 Blazer sales had dropped by 50%. I had ran across a guy with a 2004 ZR5 about 6 months ago and when he bought his ZR5 the salesman told him that 400 ZR5's and or CCs built for 2004.

In another article from the web I had also read that 50% of the vehicles produce in a given year are off the road at the 5 year mark and by the 10th year 90% are off the road. Good news for the CC collectors market.

Im assuming that if there's 1000 Chevrolet Dealers that would give them 22 Crew Cabs to sell per year. Plus how many went to Canada.
