I finally remembered to take a pic of my new rig while it was clean. Granted, they're only pics from my cell phone, but they help me show it off just the same!

Here's the specs:
`06 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4 Z-71
5.3L Iron Block V-8 rated at 295 hp
All power options
Bose speakers
Trailering package
Auto-trac 4-wheel drive (neat option!)

My good ol' father in law told me, "It looks like your S-10 GREW UP!" :!:

 I'm not doing ANY mods to this truck! Just the tonneau cover & bed/tailgate mat. I'm just leasing it. I have to admit that I'm going through mod-withdrawl though!

Hey. Quick trailering question with this truck. I have a button for trailering. When it's engaged, the tranny stays in 1st & 2nd gears ALOT longer. Do I still need to be in "3" when I'm towing?????? I know this is an S-10/Sonoma site but I thought someone might have some idea.

Follow your owners manual recommendations.

Tow/haul mode increases pressure and raises the shift points. Much the same as what the HPPIII does.
You may have the same 4L60E transmission that we have, be nice to it.

Duh! Yeah. Stupid question. I need to read the owner's manual like you said.

I LOVE the feel of that tow/haul mode! I'd like to drive around that way all the time. It Sounds and feels so sweet! I'm sure that it wouldn't be too good on the tranny though. Not to mention a KILLER in gas!
