Fastener change,rack basket,wind faring etc.
Well, I bit the bullet today (it was nice out) and took the roof basket off the CC, brackets, wind faring, what a PITA! all the fasteners save a couple were frozen with rust, I knew it just haven't had the time to change them, $27 and change and we have all new stainless. While I was at it I cleaned up the rust spots around the welds, sanded primed and will paint tomorrow PM, vola! new rack basket with new stainless hardware, remount flood light ,fire ext. and gas can, install netting and I should be good to go. There is a moral here I think, If you install a new acessory you should check the screws etc, and if not stainless.....change em out, will save you a possible pain later on, I should have, I didn't, and it took me the better part of today to make things right. Will reassemble monday or tuesday, will post on the final outcome. stay safe, mjmcdowell

That is something to consider and appreciate your "Heads UP" on the issue.
