Got a new job...

I was hesitant whether or not to post this here since it may be a rather "controversial" position...I'm going to be a service adviser at a Ford dealership.
Hopefully I can bring some much needed mechanical knowledge to the position, since most service writers I've ever known wouldn't know a spark plug from an oil plug. I'll try to fight off the urge to trade in the crewcab as long as I can...although there are already a few nice used F250's beckoning.
There's a new Ford GT in the showroom also, but I'd have to sell the house and live in it to afford it, so that's out.
The job is only five minutes from home though, compared to the 30 mile each way commute with the current job, so that's a plus. The shorter commute combined with increasing b!tchiness from the general manager at the paint store have forced me out.
Anyway...let the flaming commence.

Ford is Ok. They are second best
You'll do fine if you can deal with the upset people that know way more than you do.
At least we won't be filling them with ideas here , and sending them in to do battle with you

Gas will be cheaper when the commute goes from 30 miles to 2 miles.
