How would the Crew behave with this? I think it would be fun.
If the LS1 swap is possible then this certainly would be also. Too bad the engine costs more that the Crew.

You could also snap cvs and axles at will
Not to mention tires. Keeping tires on a CC with that engine would be a problem.

I think you would have to have a couple of extra trannys around also.

How about a Crew with the LS7, SFA, 4L80E, and 35's. I can totally picture it!

The LS7 is a 428 cubic inch
small block similar to the LS1 and LS2.

Maybe you were thinking LS6 454
big block from back in the 70's? Also a very nice engine.

I remember an article in chevy hi performance a long time ago that had a regular S-10 that Lingenfelter had put a twin-turbo 427 in it
It's intercooler was so big that they had to put the radiator in the bed, and I believe they put a Denali AWD system and 4L80E in it. Ran something like 2.8 seconds to 60 and 10 something in the quarter....on street tires
However, they did have problems keeping the trans together...they said that all the fluid would go to the back of the case during the launch and burn up the bands...
