First real snow of the season
Drove home in 4in. of slushy wet snow. Put er in 4HI to pass schmuck driving a f/s GMC at 35mph in a 50 zone up a grade with a truck lane. passing lane was nasty but I passed the guy smooth as silk. 50 was no problem in 2 wheel once I was past.

What kind of tires are you running?

Cooper Weathermaster S/T 2 severe weather rated snows with studs 235/75R15. These are the largest passenger tire size of this. I have run this same type tire on 4 different vehicles and love them.
Just found this on line
"Mickey Thompson, who is owned by the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company"

we got snow last week
then it melted
but now we've got (and are still getting) snow again
it's fun to play, but breaking the tires loose and sliding the back end on the freeway at 70 MPH kinda puts a different perspective on things

6 to 8 inches more expected overnight/tomorrow. I got volunteered to bring the parents of my friend to dinner if it's snowing
He doesn't want them driving 30 miles each way in their chrysler.
I try to keep under 60 in snow just my way of keeping on the road. I did 360 in my nova in an ice storm years ago after passing a slower car, that cured the need for speed (above reasonable for conditions) but I bet the screams from everyone in your truck really helped you regain control.

Bring some my way! We are in the third week of an inversion here. Everything is iced up and frozen in the fog.
BTW , the 55w upgrade to the stock fogs does work.

snow = fun ,Ice = not so fun I would much rather deal with 3 feet of snow rather than even an inch of ice. I got caught in an ice fog with a chevy citation years age and the only way to start the ***n thing the next morning was to build a fire under the starter.
I would be glad to ship you some but the freight cost would be a bear for enough to make a difference
