GM, Ford among top in dependability survey
...the Chevrolet S-10 was the top mid-size pickup.

Makes you wonder about the ones that scored low. Just how bad ... are they ;)

That's scarey considering what we have experienced. :!:

I will wait to pass judgement but, as a loyal GM buyer/fan/supporter, I am "big time" looking at never buying a GM product made before ''71 :!:

With the Junk bond rating I am trying to talk the Mrs. out of an '06 pontiac soltice as it is :o And it does look like a future rebirth of the miata :(

Sigh :!:

Imagine that? GM and Ford stock in the s**tter and an american auto group publishes a survey commending their outstanding customer satisafaction stats. Who'da predicted that one?

I'm always skeptical of reports on surveys that don't provide a copy of the survey questions. Like not too long ago one came out that said something like 40% of drivers didn't know they were required to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. I doubt that the question was "are you required to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk?" and 40% of drivers said "no". It's far more likely that the question was "In which of the following situations are you required to stop for a pedestrian? a. at a cross walk b. at a loading zone c. at a railroad crossing d. all of the above" and of course when a lot of people hear "all of the above"...

an old wise man once said "believe half of what you read and none of what you hear."

it depends on who is doing the report, who pays them, which day of the week it is, and what phase the moon is!!!!!!!!!!
