What should their second vehicle be?

I was just trying to see what everyones impression of our members might be.
It is funny but you form an image of what you could see someone driving. I know we pretty much all drive S-series, but I could see...
F9K9 driving a black AMC Javelin-
Barch97 would have a VW Thing-
I could see KCustom driving a "Speed Buggy" Manx-
Rusty would have Jed Clampett's old truck-
Hobie would have a APC , just for fun (we would still worry about it's durability though
) -
coffeedrnkr a BMW (big mud wagon) , the brand doesn't really matter since liquid terra is all you see any way-
bubaloo1983 right after selling the one piece full skid plate design to Lamborgini-
to be continued....

Hmm....
This is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Hobie:
KCustom....
Rusty....
Warn....
Brule....
Added ".jpg" to the images so they would display -HJ

Funny!
Jed Clampett's truck, huh?
Only if it's like this one:
Actually, I like to think I'm really more like this:
(and if I had the truck load of money to buy it, I'd be driving one like it too!)

I'd like this to be my second vehicle...again.
I used to have one just like it but traded it on the S-10.

BMW = big mud wagon
ahahahahah I never thought of it that way
I am going to stop calling it a truck and start calling it a BMW

I liked what that version did to all those nice expensive imported luxury cars near the end of the movie!

The Javelin was really close but, i'd rather be driving my old steed with the original 302 ci motor complete with the solid lifters and the burning of a qt of oil/ 1000 mi off the showroom flow
I think I hear my original feeler gauges calling to me from my tool box
Nice topic, HJ

I hear you on that! I traded in this car to get my truck
If it weren't for Minnesota's winters I would still be driving that car.

I hear you on the winters thing. My Stage III TransGo shift kit wouldn't have been much fun on snow.

What I'm concerned about is
what kind of impression are we making here?

yall are funny. an apc and a tank
if i had a choice, then i would be driving this for around town:
the problem is, i drive in los angeles and i have to park in parking garages. even stock full size 4x4 trucks cant get into where i go sometimes. thats why i never lifted the s-10.
but if i could choose something nicer for long trip and for the ladies i would drive this:
but instead of looking really cool, i suck up a piece of humble pie everyday and drive this

Hey Hobie. For what it's worth, I don't know about anyone else here but I really do drive that ratty white VW Camper pictured above. Humble pie? I'll bet that Camry has a better heater (plus A/C, better stereo, better seats, a lot more horsepower, etc, etc, etc)!
A like those Unimogs though. Total cool.

If I had the $$, thats what I'd have.. Or the nice custom Mack that is for sale on my way to work.. Dont know how much they want, but its a cab-over Mack (probably mid 80's) fully restored/customized into an RV hauler.. VERY nice job on it too..I probably should take picrures of it
BUT, my 'other' vehciles are:
1989 Lincoln LSC
1966 Mustang Coupe

1990 Pro Street Mustang convertable

Since everyone's had a good laugh at some of the crazy stuff I supposedly drive, I figure I'll join in and even give y'all some ammo to play with. I wouldn't call this a second car but I drive this a lot during the summer:
This is the one that goes about 40-45 mph (I still have yet to find a way to officially clock it). If you don't believe me, ask Mrs Rusty. She raised the life insurance on me the day I got it running!
(I may be getting old but I refuse to grow up!)

Just another MTD.
The rest of this thing is made out of more junk parts from more mowers than I can count. The really funny part about it is it mows better than the Bolens I paid over $2000 for a little over a year ago. This was a pile of junk that was headed for the dump last year, and then I just got this crazy idea....

Actually, I would LOVE to have an old Power Wagon. I know where there is one for sale too but the second I mentioned it around Mrs Rusty, well lets just say the look I got said

An H2 by any other name is just a Suburban powertrain and chassis wanting to be a real hummer.

I thought it was based on the Tahoe. Really the same thing though, just a bit shorter.
