I sold the crew!
well the crew cab is gone. just to many problems with the big lit and tires. it needed a new rear end now just like the front awhile back. I have learned something with these trucks you just cant mod the heck out of them. couple of mods for some hieght and your set but 35s and lots of lift break stuff.
I traded it in for a 2005 gmc jimmy ZR2 with only 9000 kms on it.
It is pretty much brand new. I like my s-series trucks but my sonoma was toast.
this truck will stay stock ( i love the tsock ride) i havent had that in years! maybe a programmer and intake but thats about it. plus it offroads any where i wont to go.
anyway glad to have been part of the crew but im moving on....but im still a s-series owner

Yah i love these trucks. they are perfect size for me and i have had 4 of them now. a 1992 jimmy. my sonoma aswell as a 94 jimmy and now this zr2.
The sonoma was just a beast it was more of a see what i could do then daily driver. the sfa was great and all but like i said other stuff was busted and needed to be done that i just didnt feel like fixing, wo i just traded it.
I will try and get some pics but i havent had a camera in a while
however i have already taken the zr2 for a offroad trip ( zedr2.com meet and great and i was very impressed what this truck can do stock compared to my crew. i wont be doing much to it so its the best choice
thanks for letting me stay walt

well atleast you don't regret the trade , was it a straight -truck for truck- trade , or did you use the crew as a "trade in" .
I only ask because i am looking for a trade for my blazer. Or i may lower it 4" or maybe trade it in for a VW TDI ..... Holy am I undecided or what ! .
On another note , where was the zedr2 meet and greet ?

I got 21 grand for my truck and only owed 16
they sold it already for 27000! plus they replaced the rear end. god only knows what else is wrong with it but i didnt tell them that!! alot of sqeaks and leaks thats for sure. :S
The zedr2 meet was in alberta out side calgary. we had like 6 zr2s there and like 15 people. it was really fun. just a long drive.

my crew had only 55 kms on it though and was an 03. how much does your blazer have? i got my jimmy at a kia dealer, they had just got it in on a trade for a fricking rio. odds are you wont get that kinda money for your truck, mine was one of a kind and it LOOKED expensive.

Oh I know I won't get close to that amount for my blazer , mines a 99 with 170,000kms on it LS trim -- Last summer I was offered $8000 from a Chrysler Dealership in Langley , and that was as a trade in on a 98 dodge ram 1500 ( $14000 sticker ) .
I was just gonna try my luck at other dealerships , I am just wondering what my chances are of getting $8000 for my blazer , WITHOUT buying another truck from them , Ie: just getting cash for it . Who knows .

Congrats on the ZR2 Bubaloo.
I still have mine...for now. I am trying to swing two car payments...the Avvy I got is nice, but I like my S-10.
My 2005 has with every available option has less than 15,000 miles on it and the dealer rated it as "excellent". Sticker was just below $30,000 and the employee price when I bought it was just below $27,000. I added Lojack, chrome brush guard, stainless steps, and some ZR5 wheels.
Wondering how much I could get for it and hating the thought of selling it at the same time. The Avalanche with a 5.3L/327 is getting close to 16mpg so far average vs. about 13.5avg for the blazer with a 4.3L/262.
