I went fishing today and had a great time. We got a snow storm Tuesday and Wednesday, it dropped a couple feet of new snow.
This is the creek I fish in.
Lot's of snow
This is very odd for this time of year to have snow, I think we're having global cooling
The snow is melting quick, the mud puddles are great fun!
This is my friend Shane leading the way
Who say's it doesn't snow in So Cal?

Cool picks, is that up by Big Bear. I went down to Hesperia for spring break last month to visit my mom, and my oh my what a surprise. I got caught in snow on the cajon pass and it was cold. I came from AZ in shorts and T-shirt, and had to immediately bundle up. Took a drive out to Big bear too, and there was a bunch of snow.
I didn't do it, it was already like that when I got it.
Yes, it's pretty close to Big Bear, kind of in between Big Bear and the San Gorgonio wilderness, right by a little camp site called Seven Oaks off of hwy 38. This creek is actually called the Santa Ana river South Fork.border man wrote:Cool picks, is that up by Big Bear.
The fishing was pretty decent, I've had better days. I caught four nice size rainbows and I released them back. It was mostly just a great day being outdoors and in the wilderness, away from the city and all the people.bwenny247 wrote:how was the fishing?
